Terms of use

Zani turns text into Albanian speech and can transcribe Albanian audio. You use it in the studio, in the browser, or through the API. Supported dialects are Standard, Kosovo, Gheg, and Tosk.

Voices include the public library and, on a paid plan, voices you create from a written description. Those voices stay on your account.

You need an account. You give a name, an email address, and a password, or you sign in with Google. You confirm the email before the account opens. You are responsible for the account and for every API key created on it. Write to us if you think someone else is using it.

The service is for people aged 16 or older.

• Trial: 5,000 credits, once, with no card.
• PRO: €29 for 200,000 credits.
• PRO MAX: €99 for 1,000,000 credits.

One character of generated speech costs one credit. Transcription costs 150 credits per minute of audio. A credit is taken only when the audio is created, or when a transcription finishes. A failed generation is not charged. A failed transcription returns the credits to your balance.

Each successful payment adds that plan's credits to your balance and marks the plan as paid for one month from the payment, or from the end of a period that is still running. Credits you have not used stay on the account. Paying again is your choice: we do not charge the card automatically.

The first paid purchase may include a welcome discount. The amount at checkout is the amount you pay. The discount applies once.

Payments are in euro and are handled by Paysera. We do not store your card number. The price you confirm at checkout is the price you pay. A payment that does not complete does not add credits.

You may use the audio you generate in your own work, including commercial work such as ads, narration, and products that call the API.

You may not:

• Break the law.
• Imitate a real, identifiable person without their permission, or present generated speech as a genuine recording of someone.
• Use the service for fraud or to pass yourself off as someone else.
• Share, sell, or publish your API key.
• Resell access to Zani, or present Zani's voices as a voice model you built.
• Overload, probe, or try to copy the service.

You are responsible for the text you send and for what you do with the audio.

You keep the rights to the text and files you upload. You give us permission to process them so we can generate audio, transcribe, store the result on your account, and keep the service working. That includes sending the text or the audio to the provider that produces the result.

You may use the audio we generate for you as these terms allow. You do not receive the voice models, and you may not claim that you trained them.

We work to keep Zani available, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted. We may change voices, limits, or features. A change does not remove credits you have already paid for.

Zani is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.

You can stop using Zani at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we have reason to believe is being misused. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your misuse, the Refund Policy applies to the unused credits from the latest payment.

We can update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If you keep using Zani after the update, the new terms apply. For a change that reduces what a payment you already made includes, the previous terms apply to that payment.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. Courts in Prishtina have jurisdiction, without taking away rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live.
